Ben Truniger has served as Deputy Director at the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action (FSD) and Crosstech SA since 2002, managing the back office in Manila, overseeing HR, quality, and risk management, and ensuring ISO 9001 standards.

 

He co-founded and administered Anticipe SA, focusing on HR coaching and the employability of senior managers. At the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), he held various roles including Deputy Director General, where he coordinated institutional change projects and developed decentralized management processes. As Head of Finance and Administration Operations and Deputy CFO, he managed the finance division, introduced new financial systems, and led a reorganisaton of the fundraising department. He also supervised budget establishment and HR management for field operations as Head of the division “Budget and administration Field Operations”. In Kenya and Pakistan/Afghanistan, he managed administrative services and support during critical operations. Earlier in his career, he worked as a junior product manager at Proctor & Gamble in Geneva. Ben’s key achievements include co-directing the FSD Group, managing back office services, developing HR policies, implementing innovative risk management and quality standards, promoting HR coaching and support modules for senior managers, and coordinating major institutional change projects and financial system overhauls at the ICRC and other NGOs.

 

He has further assisted in starting and building up four new non-governmental organisations in Geneva. Ben has further been a member of the board at the Association for Inclusive Peace since March 2020 and he is the Founder and President of Association Nadwah, an organisation focussing on integration of second-generation migrants in the state of Geneva.
